What we do:

The Lead Materials & Process Engineer will apply their technical knowledge and expertise to support components across our vehicle. This role will work toward building & implementing conventional and novel materials and process solutions and work with our partners to ensure that delivered hardware meets requirements & leads to the certification & production of new AAM vehicles. This position will collaborate with all Engineering verticals & Supply Chain teams during the design process.

  • Be responsible for the Materials & Process team’s workflows and focus on composites and structural bonding
  • Coordinate crafting design requirements & standard methodologies for all hardware on the vehicle
  • Own the evaluation & selection of composite materials, & adhesives to satisfy design requirements
  • Coordinate the development of adhesively bonded joints & assemblies
  • Build internal material specifications and process specifications that support manufacturing & ensure quality
  • Lead & coordinate testing for method development, materials characterization, allowables generation, and design validation
  • Serve as the M&P representative (Signatory Authority) in design reviews, the production drawing release cycle for hardware components/assemblies, & Material Review Board (MRB) issues.
  • Coordinate supplier selection, development, qualifications, and ongoing evaluations
  • Build procedures for reviewing supplier-delivered (source-controlled) hardware for compliance with requirements
  • Assist in building top-level M&P control plans and documentation
  • Support the manufacture of hardware in-house and at our suppliers
  • Participate in industry working groups, standards bodies, and relevant technical conferences and symposia to maintain awareness of technology developments & regulatory trends across academia and industry

What you can contribute:

  • Familiarity with statistical software, including Minitab, JMP, or similar
  • Knowledge of CMH-17, SAE, ASTM, and other standard bodies
  • Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean, & DOE principals
  • Proficiency in writing R&D work instructions and documentation of R&D work
  • Understanding of composites & adhesive materials and processing methods used for various applications found in aircraft structures

DESCRIPTION

Provides culturally competent and appropriate alcohol and drug outpatient treatment and other behavioral health counseling to people served by Community Counseling Solutions (CCS) who are also in the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The position provides treatment in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’s), OCEACT fidelity requirements, and the mission and values of CCS. The position works closely with other involved community partners and is professional in all aspects of service delivery. Additionally, this position assists administration in meeting the alcohol and drug treatment needs of the community.

SUPERVISION

Supervision Received

This position is supervised by an Addictions Clinical Supervisor and/or the ACT Clinical Supervisor.

Supervision Exercised

This position does not supervise other employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment assessments upon program admission and at least annually thereafter. Develop client centered service plans in conjunction with the QMHP. Provide individual and group counseling, including EIMR (dual-diagnosis) groups. Monitor progress with SUD goals and objectives and conduct thorough discharge summaries and relapse prevention plans.

Participate in the ACT On Call Crisis rotation and provide support to clients as needed. Be familiar with all ACT clients so that trust is established and clients feel comfortable whether they have a SUD diagnosis or not.

Where appropriate, provide Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) activities. Provide all other associated services to ensure the highest quality of treatment.

Actively participate in joint case planning and coordination with agency employees. Act as a liaison between clients and other agencies. Act as a client advocate when appropriate.

Actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions.

Work with other staff and community representatives to initiate new programs, review, evaluate and help revise existing programs as necessary.

Perform joint case planning and coordination in areas of alcohol and drug counseling and behavioral health counseling with other community agencies including but not limited to schools, group homes, police organizations, district attorney’s offices, courts, community clinics and hospitals, tribal entities, and other agencies in the Department of Human Services.

Provide alcohol and drug and behavioral health education and information to various interest groups.

Complete all paperwork in a way that is professional, clinically sound, and timely as prescribed by the OAR’s and other pertinent guidelines. Required to ensure that all paperwork is present, and/or the client record is well maintained.

Attend training, meetings, conferences, etc. as directed by administration and use the information gathered to benefit the agency and the customers.

Utilize agency software/computer systems to prepare current client records of treatment and reports as necessary and required.

Transport clients as required.

Administer forms for drug testing, provide accurate information on the drug testing results to clients, in some cases observe the drug test, and record all pertinent information.

Must report all abuse to appropriate legal office, complete all necessary paperwork and investigations, and develop safety plans as required.

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification Level I

Qualified Mental Health Associate Certification Level I

Those recovering from a substance use disorder must be able to document continuous abstinence under independent living conditions or recovery housing for the immediate past two years.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use office automation including computer and phone systems that requires fine manipulation, grasping, typing, and reaching. Sitting for several hours reviewing reports and other written materials and talking on phone. This position may occasionally be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds. Incumbents will occasionally have to reach, bend, kneel and squat when adjusting equipment or retrieving supplies.

The employee needs to be able participate in vehicle travel between partner offices, individual homes, in the community, and to attend required meetings and/or training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in the community, but also in an office environment. At times, work may be conducted from home via phone and video services. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate, but occasionally one may be exposed to loud noises. The noise in the community, including the homes of customers, is often difficult to predict. Occasional out of area travel and overnight stays will be required for attendance at meetings and/or training.

However, the employee also will be required to work in the community and homes of the clients we serve. Handicap access may not be available at all places where this position must go. Stony Brook Universitys Department of Pathology is seeking a faculty member to serve with responsibilities and duties in Pediatric Surgical Pathology and medical education.


Academic rank at the Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience and academic record.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
MD, DO (or foreign equivalent). American Board of Pathology board eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology. Eligibility for New York State licensure. Strong diagnostic skills in Pediatric Pathology and the potential to serve as an outstanding educator of medical students, Pathology residents, and clinical fellows. Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology or a sub-specialty area, including, but not limited to, breast, gynecologic, genitourinary, head & neck, bone and soft tissue, urologic or GI pathology. In lieu of fellowship training, demonstration of expertise in a surgical pathology sub-specialty will be considered. Demonstration of scholarly contributions in clinical/translational research and experience in medical education.

Our client has created a new position for a Technical Sales Representative who will be a key member of the West Region sales team. You will drive business growth in rheology methods within your territory of Northern California. Your location is ideally near San Jose, CA but other locations in the territory may be possible.


T he base salary range for this position is $102,000/year to $115,000/year. The commission plan is uncapped, pays monthly from dollar one, and includes bonuses for exceeding targets. We offer monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement, full benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.


Responsibilities:



  • Generating and developing new accounts and effectively managing existing accounts.

  • Presenting to small and large audiences including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
